Trifid Nebula
This is the Trifid Nebula, also known as M20 and NGC 6514. It’s an H II region, plus a reflection nebula and a dark nebula. It’s roughly 21 lightyears across, and is about 4100 lightyears away.

- Tracking: Home built 2 circle segment equatorial platform
- Camera: ZWO ASI533MM Pro, CMOS monochrome 3008x3008 3.76μm pixels, 200 gain
- Image capture: OpenLiveStacker on Android phone.
- Stacking: Siril
- Post-processing: Gimp
- Skies: Bortle 4 skies (Mt Stromlo)
